Do you know who to call? When to call? What steps to take?

Understanding who to call is only half the battle. Knowing when to call is what makes all the difference. If you approach land development with a clear mindset that there may possibly be days of no communication or contact, you are mentally setting yourself up for the construction process.


The On-Your-Lot Building Experience


Take it from me, someone whom started a journey building a house with an on-your-lot builder, to working for an on-your-lot builder, who created a company designed to fill in the gap of the, "land to home building" process with an on-your-lot builder. There are many more steps to acknowledge and understand to that of which you would generally experience with a "high density" or neighborhood builder.

My Experience - It was 'Shocking'

From the beginning, I was beyond excited about building a new house on vacant land! I thought, this is an affordable way to not only get want I want within means, but to also (if done correctly) gain equity at the end of the build! I had a beautiful 5 acre parcel 20 minutes outside out town, with stunning, picturesque views that would make Bob Ross want to rush over and start painting a masterpiece! Everything was set with how I wanted the driveway to approach, and how the house was to sit facing southward to engage is breathtaking morning views.
